1960s Ideal Pebbles Doll

This 8 inch Baby Pebbles Doll, made by Ideal in the 1960s during the initial run of the Flintstones cartoon, was discovered in a booth full of junque at a toy show last weekend. Ideal made both Pebbles and Bamm Bamm dolls, in a huge range of sizes. This was the smallest version, and she is soooo cute!

  1. Have you seen a Pebbles Doll look-alike that has the markings 14 J.F. 3 on the back of its head? I saw one made by Plated Moulds Inc., but not one from this "J.F.3"... whatever that is. Was this maybe a knockoff doll? I have 3 Pebbles, a 16 inch, a 12, and a 14 inch. I have never seen this 8 inch before, and you're right, she is adorable!!
    Thanks

  2. No, I've never seen that one, but I know there were a few knock-offs of both Pebbles and Bamm Bamm. I would guess your mystery doll is one of those. Yabba Dabba Doo!
